Suspicious Person Contacted Near Rosehill Elementary School

Just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, the Kirkland Police responded on a report of a suspicious adult male just south of Rosehill Elementary School.  An eleven-year-old boy reported a male acting strangely and at some point, momentarily grabbed the boy before turning and walking off.  The boy was not injured and reported the incident to school staff. Kirkland Police Officers searched the area and located a male near the school matching the description the boy had provided. Based on the information the boy had provided and the information provided from the male, the adult was arrested on a charge of assault 4th degree.  Kirkland Police Detectives have been assigned to this case and the investigation is ongoing.
