Police Continue to Investigate Kirkland Shooting

Kirkland, WA – Just before 7:30 pm on Saturday, May 7, Kirkland Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 9700 block of NE 138th Pl.  Officers arrived and found an adult male inside a residence who had been shot. The 29 year old male was transported to Harborview Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.  The incident does not appear to be random in nature and may be drug related. Kirkland Police Detectives are conducting the investigation and are releasing limited information due to the nature of the ongoing investigation.  Auburn Police located a reported stolen vehicle that may have possible ties to the victim. Kirkland Detectives are following up on this and other possible developments in the case.
