Kirkland Police Investigate Robbery on Rose Hill

 

On February 18, 2019, around 8:00 p.m. Kirkland Police Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the parking lot of the Rose Hill Safeway, located in the 12500 BLK of NE 85th ST.  

The initial investigation revealed a male victim in his twenties had been robbed and assaulted by two other males that he had previously arranged to meet in the parking lot at that location. The victim reported that upon meeting the suspects, they stole his money and his cell phone. During the incident, the victim fired several rounds from a .45 caliber handgun striking the suspect’s vehicle. The two suspects fled the scene in a dark colored sedan.  

The robbery victim sustained serious injuries to his face and head during the attack. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Kirkland Police are investigating what led up to the incident, and they are looking to identify the outstanding suspects.
