Inmate Phone Calls

Inmates are afforded the opportunity to make a free phone call at time of booking only. All subsequent phone calls available to inmates are collect only.  Inmates are not able to receive incoming calls and corrections staff will not pass messages to inmates.

Exceptions can be made for attorneys, clergy or medical/mental health officials.

How to accept a collect phone call from an inmate:

If you are unable to accept a collect call from an inmate (most mobile phones do not allow you to accept incoming collect calls) you must set up an account with our phone service provider at www.inmatesales.com or by calling 1-877-998-5678.  NOTICE:  This account allows YOU to RECEIVE a collect call from an inmate.

How to block calls from an inmate:

If you are receiving unwanted phone calls from an inmate, please contact the Kirkland Jail directly at 425-587-3465 to have your number blocked.

Technical Support:

If you have technical or billing issues related to the phone system please refer to www.inmatesales.com or call them at 1-877-998-5678. Kirkland Jail staff is not able to provide billing or technical assistance.

NOTICE:  All phone calls are recorded and subject to monitoring by jail staff with the exception of privileged parties (ie. attorneys).
