Case/Incident #2021-2006

Kirkland, Wash. – Investigative work by the Kirkland Police Pro-Act Unit has led to the arrest of multiple suspects on February 4, 2021, related to several burglaries that occurred in January. In mid-January 2021, Kirkland Police Officers were dispatched to a residential burglary at a condominium complex located in the southern part of the city. Patrol Officers conducted a very thorough investigation and discovered that there were several break-ins; a residential unit, along with several storage units. Two vehicles were also stolen from a secured parking lot during these burglaries.

The Kirkland Police Pro-Act Unit was assigned to this case at the end of January 2021 and diligently investigated the players involved.  This led to an arrest of two males and two females on February 4, 2021. Pro-Act identified a Renton area hotel where the suspects had been staying as well as a storage locker they were frequently visiting. Through additional investigation, they identified additional victims and recovered multiple victims’ property pawned at a Bellevue pawn store. Pro-Act authored and executed four search warrants.

As a result of their persistent work and the execution of these search warrants, the involved suspects were tied to many associated burglaries that occurred between Jan 14-16, 2021. The two stolen vehicles, a Porsche and a Mercedes, were recovered and returned. Several thousands of dollars in jewelry, electronics and personal property were recovered. The suspects involved in these Kirkland cases were also linked to another burglary and multiple identity theft cases in Seattle.

The four adults that were arrested have a mix of pending charges which consist of:

Residential Burglary, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft in the 1st Degree, Theft of a Firearm, Identity Theft in the 1st Degree, Possession of Stolen Property in the 2nd Degree, Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act (VUCSA)- Possession of Methamphetamines
