KIRKLAND, Wash. – Kirkland Parks and Community Services is hosting its second annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Juanita Beach Park (north), located at 9703 Juanita Drive Northeast in Kirkland. This free community event is sponsored by MorningStar Senior Living of Kirkland, Google, and Neal Smiles Orthodontics.

“The Harvest Festival is a wonderful opportunity for our community to celebrate the turning of the seasons,” said Councilmember Toby Nixon. “Please bring your family and friends to this fun-filled Fall festival!”

The event will feature a wide variety of activities and attractions for both young and old, including food trucks, live music, artisan food and craft vendors, apple cider pressing, and tractor-pulled wagon rides. Attendees can also participate in pie eating and corn shucking contests for both adults and children, sponsored by Juanita Kids Dentistry. There will also be photo booths, an outdoor game area for adults, and a Kid's Korral with faux cow milking, bull roping, ring toss, horseshoes, pumpkin bowling, crafts, and pony rides.

Parking is limited at the site. However, there is additional parking at the Juanita Beach Park parking lot located across the street.
