KIRKLAND, Wash.
– The annual Celebrate Kirkland! Parade returns to downtown Kirkland on Tuesday, July 4, 2023! We are currently accepting applications for parade float entries and volunteers. Volunteer opportunities include: helping along the parade route, assisting with the Kid’s Pavilion, the Veteran’s portion, or helping to set up and break down the event. See how you can get involved.

“Being a volunteer or participating in the parade is a great way to meet new people and support the community,” said Deputy Mayor Jay Arnold. “Whether you want to show off your float in the parade, help keep people safe along the route, or enjoy yourself as a spectator – everyone’s involvement will help make this year’s event a success!”

The 4th of July Parade is a fun Kirkland tradition for the whole family. The itinerary includes a kids’ decorating station at the Lakeshore Plaza at 10:30 a.m., a kids’ walking parade at 11:30 a.m., and the general parade at 12 p.m.

For more information or to apply to be a parade participant or a volunteer, please visit the Celebrate Kirkland! Webpage: www.kirklandwa.gov/CelebrateKirkland.
