KIRKLAND, Wash. – The City invites the community to attend the grand opening of the Juanita Friday Market, which takes place 3 to 7 p.m., Friday, June 7 at Juanita Beach Park.
A twelve-year Kirkland tradition, the Juanita Friday Market features fresh produce from local farmers, artisanal breads and desserts, locally-made honey, hot food, cut flowers, sustainable skin care products, hand-crafted jewelry, candles, natural soap, local art and much more. The weekly series is set against the stunning backdrop of Juanita Beach Park, which offers sandy shoreline, restrooms, swimming and a children’s play area.
“There is something so enticing about an open-air market, and the beach setting adds to the festive ambiance,” said Juanita Friday Market Coordinator Tina Lathia. “We are thrilled to offer this amazing community shopping experience for another season.”
The Juanita Friday Market extends from June 7 through September 27, providing community members and guests with an entire summer filled with local products, live music, tasty delicacies and family-friendly fun. The First Friday of every month is Kids Day.
“We would like to extend a huge thank you to this season’s community partners, including Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Kirkland Kids Dentistry, Waste Management, Franklin Energy, and The Gardens at Juanita Bay,” Lathia said. “Support from our local businesses helps make this market a success!”
Juanita Beach Park is located at 9703 N.E. Juanita Drive. The market takes place every Friday rain or shine! For more information about the Juanita Friday Market, please visit the City website.
