Kirkland Police Seek Assistance in Locating Suspect

Kirkland, WA – Kirkland Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Matthew Gordon, the adult male suspect wanted on charges of First Degree Domestic Violence Assault for assaulting his girlfriend with a firearm, multiple counts of First Degree Assault for firing a weapon at people and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon. Gordon is five foot eight inches tall, weighs 160 pounds with blue eyes. He could possibly be driving a silver 2010 Toyota Camry with a Washington disabled plate, license DP25833, a black 2015 Yamaha Motorcycle, Washington license 8D2710, or a Green Mercury Cougar with unknown plates.
Officers served a search warrant at Gordon’s residence early Friday morning, July 8th, and seized numerous items of evidence including, but not limited to:

• Rifles (one with a “silencer”)
• Large stores of various ammunition
• Body armor vest
• Military equipment
• Surveillance equipment
• Tactical helmet

Matthew Gordon should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see Matthew Gordon, please call 911 immediately.
