KIRKLAND, Wash. –The City of Kirkland is once again conducting the biennial Community Survey to gauge community attitudes about the quality of life in Kirkland, priorities for the future and satisfaction with City government and services. Calls were made over the past few weeks to a statistically valid, random sample of residents. An online survey is now available for those who were not contacted in the random sample but still want to participate.  Please complete the online survey by May 21, 2018. Results of the phone survey will be supplemented by the results of the online survey.

The Community Survey is taken every two years, and information collected in the survey helps measure community priorities and governmental performance. The information gives the City Council a guideline for their budget investment strategy. Past surveys can be found within the City Manager’s Office portion of the website now, and that page will be updated with the results of the 2018 Community Survey once the process is complete.

For questions, contact Kathy Cummings at or call (425) 587-3021.
