CenturyLink announced this morning that the 911 Outage is officially over. They stated that the cause of the outage was a CenturyLink network management card in Denver, CO that was propagating invalid frame packets across devices.
CenturyLink is still experiencing a nationwide issue this morning where some individuals are reporting receiving a fast busy signal when they dial 911. Though we are hearing reports that this issue has been partly resolved, please be aware that if you are unable to get through to 911, and you are currently located in Kirkland, you should call 425-577-5656. Please do not try to call your local fire or police station.
The City will post updates on this webpage and throughout its distribution channels when more information is available.
