Join EarthCorps and the Green Kirkland Partnership as we continue to work in Everest Park! This 21 acre park is home to Everest Creek which has been identified as an excellent source of clean water feeding into Lake Washington and Puget Sound. By restoring the forests surrounding Everest Creek, we are creating a natural buffer that filters stormwater entering the creek to keep this water source healthy and clean!
We know you are excited to get back to restoring our parks so EarthCorps has implemented some new procedures to help you do so! You can read them here and watch this video to do your part to volunteer responsibly.
No experience necessary and tools and training are provided! Just come ready to learn something new.
