Green Kirkland Steward Workshop for New and Ongoing Stewards.
This steward training will focus on setting restoration goals around target plant communities and developing planting plans informed by site assessment and your site goals.
During this hands-on training, staff will review the following topics:
• Understanding target plant communities
• Basic Site assessment (soils, light and moisture)
• Selecting appropriate plant species and developing your plant request for GKP
This workshop will be led by a GK staff person in the field, please dress for outdoor weather and stewardship activities.

Where to Meet: This training will meet at Edith Moulton Park at the large shelter. Please plan on spending the entire time outdoors and we will be walking through the park to tour different habitat types.
