Join the Green Kirkland Partnership to help with the restoration of the forest at Crestwoods Park. Volunteers will spend the afternoon participating in restoration activities that may include removing invasive plants like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, applying mulch, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers. No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us! This event will be led by a volunteer Green Kirkland Steward.

What to Bring: Please dress for the weather--layers are encouraged and rain gear is a must most times of year, wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a filled water bottle and snacks to munch on. Tools, gloves and training will be provided.
Getting there: The park address is 1818 6th St Kirkland, WA 98033. From the parking area along 6th St walk north (left if you're facing the park). We meet at the wooden kiosk that marks the northern entrance to the natural areas--look for the Green Kirkland signs. Click here for a park map and directions to the event. (PDF, 330 KB)
Parking is available in the parking lot and along the street.
