This event is very busy at the start! We will allow people in till we reach room capacity, then will admit people as others leave. The crowd typically quiets down around 11.
We cannot guarantee you will get a costume since the selection is limited to what is donated in advance. But if you come with an open mind we will help you find something that will work for you! (At past swaps we've had lots of princess, superhero, witch and animal costumes.) Use the accessories table to create your own unique outfit!
The event is fun and easy – it’s not an exchange program where you must bring in a costume to get one, but residents are encouraged to donate if you’d like to take a costume. We rely on advance donations from the community to make this event run smoothly! Donating in advance allows us to sort the costumes by size and hang them on racks so it's easy for people to find a costume that fits.
This is a great way to help the environment, save money, and share with the community! Hosted by the City of Kirkland Recycling Team to make it easy for our community members to reuse and reduce :)
If you're interested in volunteering the day of the event, please contact email@example.com. Volunteers help set up the room, help attendees find costumes that will work for them, monitor the room capacity, run the photo booth, and hang up costumes that have been tried on.
