KPD Guns for Gift Cards Exchange a Success

At the first voluntary gun turn-in event in the Puget Sound region in nearly 10 years, Kirkland Police Department received 91 guns at its ‘Guns for Gift Cards’ exchange last Saturday, June 25, at the Kirkland Justice Center.

City Welcomes Erika Mascorro as Kirkland's First DEIB Manager

The City of Kirkland announces the hiring of Erika Mascorro as the City’s first Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Manager. Mascorro’s position is intended to support the City’s various efforts around DEIB, including implementing the City’s soon-to-be-adopted DEIB 5-Year Roadmap.
