Arrests Made in Kirkland Houghton Beach Homicide

Early this morning Kirkland Police Investigators made three arrests associated with a homicide that occurred on the evening of September 16, 2020 at Houghton Beach Park. Investigators discovered that the beach park was an agreed meeting spot to make a firearms transaction.

City of Kirkland Aware of AFTS, Inc. Data Security Issue

The City of Kirkland is aware of a security/data incident related to its utility billing vendor, Automatic Funds Transfer Services, Inc (AFTS). The City of Kirkland contracts with AFTS to handle Kirkland resident and commercial utility billing including processing of paper check payments.
