WHAT: The City of Kirkland is putting on hold a project that will install medians, re-stripe bicycle lanes and rebuild a pair of sidewalk curb ramps along Bridle Trails’ 122nd Avenue Northeast, between Northeast 70th and 60th streets.
The traffic calming project is a collaborative effort between the City of Kirkland and the South Rose Hill and Bridle Trails Neighborhood Association to reduce vehicular speeds along the street.
WHEN: Kirkland's project engineers are currently trying to reduce the project's costs. If they are successful, the project will begin shortly thereafter.
