Tree Code Amendments

STATUS - The City Council adopted the amendments to KZC 95 on March 15, 2022 (O-4786(PDF, 3MB)) and the new regulations became effective on May 13, 2022. The new regulations were vetoed by the former Houghton Community Council, so the former KZC 95 continues to apply within the boundaries of the Houghton Municipal Corporation.

NOTE - a Petition for Review of the adopted amendments has been filed by the Master Builders of King and Snohomish County and a number of other development interests with the Washington State Central Puget Sound Growth Management Hearings Board. The petition does not change the applicability of the adopted regulations at this time.
