Facility and Athletic Field Rentals
Many parks offer picnic areas perfect for your next get-together. Indoor park facilities are also available to rent. If you're looking for a place to host your next soccer or baseball practice, check out our athletic field rentals.

Green Kirkland Partnership
The Green Kirkland Partnership is an alliance between the City of Kirkland, nonprofit partners, businesses and the community to restore more than 500 acres of natural areas in the City. The majority of our restoration efforts are accomplished by our dedicated volunteers, who are supported by partnership staff. You can volunteer with us one time or every week - it takes everyone's help to restore our natural areas.

Parks Beautification and Volunteering
Looking for a way to give back to Kirkland's parks? This program provides one-time opportunities for individuals, families, and groups to volunteer in their favorite parks throughout the year by weeding flower beds, planting perennials, cleaning signage, raking beaches, picking up litter and more.

Park Ranger
Kirkland's Park Ranger provides customer service to park patrons to ensure a safe, welcoming, and positive experience while using Kirkland’s Parks and Green Spaces.

Weeds and Pest Management
The Public Works and Parks Departments work together to manage weeds and pests on City-owned property. When dealing with insects, rodents, weeds and plant diseases, we use a variety of techniques that factor in costs, benefits, efficiency and impact to public health and the environment.

Community Gardens
Interested in growing your own fruits and vegetables but don't have the space at home? Community garden plots are available for rent at Ohde Park, Tot Lot Park, and McAuliffe Park.

Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail
Maintained by the Public Works Department, the interim Cross Kirkland Corridor trail is a 5.75 mile multi-use gravel trail traversing through Kirkland. It's a great place to go for a walk, jog, or bicycle ride. Many of our parks are accessible from the trail.

Donations
Donating funds for a park bench or table is a wonderful way to honor or celebrate someone special in your life. You can also contribute towards other park elements such as trees, public art, or tools and equipment.
