Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission consists of three members, appointed by the City Manager to terms of six years. The regularly scheduled meeting is the second Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at Kirkland City Hall.  The Civil Service Commission ensures that Public Safety (Police Officers and Firefighters) are hired on the basis of merit and disciplined/terminated for cause.
