The Civil Service Commission consists of three members, appointed by the City Manager to terms of six years. The Civil Service Commission ensures that Public Safety (Police Officers and Firefighters) are hired on the basis of merit and disciplined/terminated for cause. The regularly scheduled meeting is the second Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at Kirkland City Hall.
Next CSC Meeting
The next meeting with Kirkland's Civil Service Commission will be Monday, February 22 at 5:30 p.m. virtually through Zoom.
