Business Licensing

The City of Kirkland requires a license for all businesses located within City limits, or conducting business within City limits. This Kirkland City business license, sometimes referred to as a Kirkland endorsement, is needed in addition to your state business license. Development Services

Development within the City of Kirkland can involve three major departments: Planning and BuildingPublic Works, and Fire.  Specialized workgroups from each of these departments are collectively referred to as Development Services. Tax Information - Sales Tax

The City of Kirkland does not levy any type of business and occupation taxes, except for Utility(PDF, 26KB) companies.
