About Carter Bagg:
Carter Bagg has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of California Berkeley and a Master's in Environmental Planning from Arizona State University. He is a registered Architect in Arizona and Washington, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has held an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certificate since 1986. He has been in private practice as an architect and land use planner as well as a city zoning administrator. He served eight years on Kirkland's Design Review Board and four years on the Planning Commission. From 1992 to 2007 he was in the Facilities Section of the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and served on Washington State's initial Growth Management Act Comprehensive Plan Review Interagency Workgroup. He later was interim Director of the section and manager for the Washington High Performance Schools Program, becoming a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional in the process. He currently is the Value Engineering Team Leader with the Educational Service District 112 Construction Services Group, assisting school districts throughout Washington.
