The City of Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department operates seasonal aquatics programs at the Peter Kirk Pool.

Aquatic Classes and Programs
Youths and adults can take advantage of many classes and programs, including learn-to-swim lessons, water safety classes, water aerobics, and special interest classes. Programs and classes are available throughout the summer. Please visit the webpage for additional information and registration.
Kirkland Orcas Swim Team & Craze Summer Swim League
Kirkland Orcas Swim Team & Craze Summer Swim League is celebrating 16 years at the City of Kirkland. The main objective of Craze Summer Swim League is to provide a safe, recreational and competitive experience for area swimmers between the ages of 6 to 18. Guarded Swimming Beaches
The City of Kirkland has three guarded swimming beaches, Houghton, Waverly Beach, and Juanita Beach. Lifeguards will be on duty July 1- September 4, 2017. Please visit the webpage for additional information on lifeguard on-duty hours and swim test information.
Kirkland Kids Triathlon will be on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at Juanita Beach Park.
Join us this simmer at Lee Johnson Field for Sprinkler Park Thursdays! A variety of sprinklers, suitable for all ages, will be set up for everyone to enjoy and cool off from the summer heat!

* Parking is available in the parking garage under the library. Children 10 and under must be supervised.
