Join the Green Kirkland Partnership and students from the University of Washington Restoration Ecology Network to help with the restoration of North Rose Hill Woodlands Park. Volunteers will spend the morning participating in restoration activities which may include removing non-native invasive plants like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry and spreading mulch over cleared areas. No experience necessary and ages are welcome!

What to bring:
* Closed Toed Shoes Required (ex: tennis shoes, sneakers or boots but no sandals)
* Recommended: Clothes that can get dirty * Raingear * Warm Layers * Long Pants/Long Sleeves
* Full water bottle & Snacks
* Tools, training and gloves are provided
* Portable Bathroom onsite but no running water
Where to Meet:
This event will meet at the east entrance to the park, by 128th ave NE near the small playground, just North of Mark Twain Elementary School. Look for the Green Kirkland signs.

Merge onto NE 85th St heading East
Turn left onto 124th Ave NE

Where to park:
Parking is available on the street at NE 100th ST and 128th Ave NE
Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Download the Green Kirkland Youth Volunteer Waiver. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
