volunteer with wheelbarrowJoin fellow park lovers in removing invasive plants and caring for newly planted native trees and shrubs at Juanita Beach Park.  No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us!

This event will be led by volunteer Green Kirkland Steward Jodie.

What to Bring Please dress for the weather (layers are encouraged and rain gear is a must this time of the year), wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a filled water bottle and snacks to munch on. Tools, gloves and training  will be provided.

Where to Park Park in the main parking lot near the children's play area.

Meeting Point We meet near the foot bridge at the west end of the parking lot--look for the Green Kirkland Partnership signs.

Youth Volunteering Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Download the Green Kirkland Youth Volunteer Waiver. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
