Recycle

All your recyclables go in your blue dumpster/cart. Make sure recyclables are clean and placed loose (not in bags/boxes) so that they can easily be sorted after collection.

Why should I recycle and where does it all go?Recycling Center
Recycle to save money. By taking the time to put recyclables in your blue dumpster/cart, you generate less trash. With less trash, your complex can opt for a smaller (and cheaper) garbage service level. Recycling also helps the environment because items are made into new things instead of sitting unused in the landfill for a lifetime.

Recyclables go to the Cascade Recycling Center in Woodinville where they are sorted and eventually sold to be made into new products.

What can I put in my blue dumpster/cart?
Recycle CartAccepted paper, plastic, glass, aluminum/tin, and scrap metal go in your blue dumpster/cart. Download the complete guide (pdf, 2.2mb).

Ignore the numbers on plastics and refer to the complete guide on what you can put in your blue dumpster/cart. Minimizing contamination (putting the wrong items) can help keep costs low for all residents.

Special Recycling Programs
These items are recyclable, but do not belong inside your blue dumpster/cart and require proper disposal. Find local recycling and disposal options:
