Recycling isn't just for single family homeowners! The City of Kirkland offers recycling service along with garbage service to all residential complexes in Kirkland.

 The City of Kirkland is offering FREE recycling containers to Kirkland multi-family property managers and condo associations for distribution to their residents, while supplies last.
Each durable container comes filled with great recycling information including a guideline sticker, a refrigerator magnet, and a recycling resource list. The City also offers recycling presentations to tenant and owner groups and free assistance in establishing new recycling programs.

Electronics Recycling
Computer, TVs and other electronics contain hazardous materials and are not allowed in the garbage. Take It Back Network members collect and recycle old electronics in a cost-effective manner - find the Network member closest to your home. Some electronics are also accepted at the Spring and Fall Special Collection Events (see details below).

Household Hazardous Waste
Hazardous and medical wastes are not allowed in the garbage or recycling. Residents can take advantage of facilities that allow them to bring in many household chemicals including pesticides, household cleaners, and oil-based paint.
Special Collection Events
Special events help you recycle and reuse many of the materials that are not currently accepted in our recycling program. The next collection event will be held on October 1, 2011. Click on the link to see what you can bring and what to leave at home.
