The Stormwater Division of Kirkland Public Works addresses both water quality (pollutants) and water quantity (flood control) problems. Management of the stormwater in Kirkland prevents physical damage to people and property from flooding and maintains the ecological integrity, quality and quantity of our local water resources.

Kirkland's Stormwater Utility ensures the proper maintenance and operation of all public and private stormwater systems within the City.
