City Council approved formation of the Parking Advisory Board (PAB) by ordinance in June of 2004. The PAB facilitates an exchange of information both to and from citizens concerned about parking downtown. The PAB recommends new policy and policy changes to the City Council. Central to the work of the Board are the Parking Guidelines for Downtown Kirkland that are codified in the Kirkland Municipal Code. The PAB assists the Parking Coordinator in the implementation of the parking management plan based on these Guidelines. Click here for the PAB Work Plan developed by the City Council and the Board.
The PAB meetings are every first Thursday of the month from 7:30-9:30 a.m. in the Rose Hill Room at City Hall. Enter on the north side, just east of the main front doors. The public is welcome to attend!
