The Human Resources Department provides professional-level, customer-service oriented expertise, advice and support to the City’s management and employees.

The department is responsible for assuring legal compliance in the areas of recruitment, hiring, employee relations, risk management, benefits administration, union contract compliance, and protection of employee rights.
