In November and December 2006, Western Washington was impacted by severe weather – heavy rains, snow and a wind storm that most residents won’t forget. The wind storm caused extensive and extended power outages. Events such as these are a stark reminder of the importance of having supplies in our homes, cars, offices and at schools to help us through an event.
