The City of Kirkland responds to Requests for Access to Public Records
in accordance with RCW 42.56 and Kirkland City Council Resolution 4669, Adopting Public Records Act Rules (These rules are periodically and independently updated to reflect current pricing and process.) The most recent update is effective March 1, 2013 and includes scanning charges for electronic copies.
To make a request, download and complete the Request for Access to Public Records form.

Please note these two exceptions:
- Police Department: Please address requests for Police records directly to the Kirkland Police Department Records Division at the same address above. You can find more information on the police public disclosure page.
- Municipal Court: Requests for Kirkland Municipal Court records should be delivered directly to the Court at 11515 NE 118th Street, Kirkland, or Fax to 425-587-3161. A court records request form (PDF - 97k) is also available to download.
