Council members are elected at large, not by district. They are elected every two years to staggered four year terms.

Q: How do I participate in a Council meeting?
On each regular Council meeting agenda there is an item called “Items from the Audience.” This is the time in which a person may present an issue, raise a question or concern, voice a complaint, or compliment the City. Certain topics have Public Hearings. These are separate items set aside on the agenda to hear testimony on a specific issue. Please see Addressing the Council in this section.
