Salary Commission Vacancy

The City of Kirkland is seeking adult volunteer applicants to fill a vacancy on the Salary Commission. The appointment is for a three-year term ending March 31, 2015, and is made by the City Council. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and reside within the city limits of Kirkland.

The Salary Commission sets the salary of the members of the City Council. Applicants must not be an officer, official, or employee of the city, or an immediate family member.

In 2011 the City Council adopted a Code of Conduct which all Board and Commission members are asked to sign.

Salary Commission applications must be submitted to the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012.
