Park Board Vacancies
The City of Kirkland is seeking adult volunteer applicants to fill two vacancies on the Park Board. The appointments are for four-year terms expiring March 31, 2016, and are made by the City Council. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and reside within the city limits of Kirkland.
The Park Board meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. It advises the City Council on matters relating to parks, recreation, and community services.

In 2011 the City Council adopted a Code of Conduct which all Board and Commission members are asked to sign.
Park Board applications must be submitted to the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012.
