A female died of a neck wound just after 3:00 am this morning at her residence in Kirkland. Kirkland Police and Fire Aid Units were called to the 13300 block of 100^th Ave NE after receiving a 911 call from a male roommate who advised the female had a neck injury. AID Units treated the female at the scene but were unable to save her. The roommate is cooperating with Police and at this time the cause of the injury is still under investigation. Kirkland Police Detectives are on scene and a search warrant for the residence is being sought.
