The City of Kirkland’s I.T. The City of Kirkland’s I.T. Department has become aware that VerizonWireless customers are having trouble reaching the City of Kirkland’s government phone system. The City’s phone lines are through Integra Telecom, however the problem is with VerizonWireless which is working to resolve the issue. The disruption does not affect the ability to call 9-1-1 for police, fire and emergency medical services. It is affecting calls made to Kirkland City Hall and its other government buildings. It is not known when the issue will be completely resolved and when it is, an update will be posted to the City’s website at www.kirklandwa.gov (News Room).
