Kirkland, Wash – The Kirkland Kids Triathlon at Juanita Beach Park gives youth, ages three through twelve, a chance to participate in a triathlon on Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Juanita Beach Park, 9703 NE Juanita Drive. The Kids Triathlon includes a 50-yard swim/splash, a half mile bicycle ride and a 400 yard run. Pre-registration is available on line at www.kirklandparks.net, course code 48081. Day of event registration opens at 10:00 a.m. and is subject to availability. Registration fee is $32 per participant and includes a swim cap, t-shirt, and participation ribbon. The race is non-timed, non-competitive and an excellent opportunity for youth to experience the sport of triathlon.
