Free tree-cycling for Waste Management customers Jan. 4 – 15

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Waste Management will collect Christmas trees free of charge during the first two full weeks of January 2016: January 4 through January 15.  Trees must be no more than six (6) feet in length; larger trees should be cut in half to meet the length requirement.  Trees must also be unflocked and undecorated.  Single Family Residential customers are asked to place your tree at the curb before 7 a.m. on your regular service day. Multifamily Residential customers are asked to place your tree next to your property’s garbage dumpster. Tree-cycling collection for multi-family properties will be: Mondays and Thursdays: Properties north of Forbes Creek Drive/NE 116th Street and Tuesdays and Fridays: Properties south of Forbes Creek Drive/NE 116th Street. Holiday Service Reminder:

For residents whose service day falls on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day, trash and recycling service will be provided on Saturday.

Inclement Weather Reminder:

If Waste Management does not collect your trash and recycling due to inclement weather, please remove your carts from the sidewalk or street.  The following week, Waste Management will collect two weeks’ worth of trash and recycling at no extra cost. No credits will be issued for service delayed due to inclement weather.
